Inside and outside the courtroom, the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) can be a uniquely powerful tool for advancing children’s rights. With this in mind, CRIN launched its CRC in Court database in 2009 to highlight important cases that have advanced or set back children’s rights.
You can search CRIN’s case law database for leading children’s rights cases from more than 100 countries. To search for cases that directly apply the CRC, use the “cited CRC” search bar. For cases that are relevant to CRC rights but may not directly cite them, use the “related CRC articles” search bar.
